You might have noticed my absence of the last weeks. I’ve been busy with work, knitting and Dutch classes too. So sorry and so many ideas to bring you today! I don’t want to overwhelm you, though. First I’ll show you the progress in class and some inspiration for new projects. Then I’ll share with you my new free knitting pattern. And last but not least I’ll give you a coupon code and if you like you can get my next new pattern for free! Starting with the past knitting classes I have to say that it has been a great experience so far. We have been learning how to make increases, decreases, read patterns, charts and much more. We have been talking about stripes; they are so much fun to knit, can be simple and interesting as well and have infinite possibilities. What do you think about stripes? Have you made anything with stripes? Would you like to join us for our next KAL? Here are some patterns for inspiration.
Would you like to knit any of them? Maybe you have already, tell us! Also in class we’ve been working on is this cute and easy headband that is also a quick project to make and practice increasing and decreasing techniques. It’s the pattern-saver for when you don’t have time, but have to make something for family or friends. I have made a couple of them for my nieces, still can make some more in different colours, they love them! Download Garter Leaves Headband from Ravelry. And then, today 29th of May is my godmother and aunt Ana’s Birthday. She is one of the most amazing women that I have ever known. She is sweet, kind and cheerful, she always has a smile for everyone. She is from Jaén, Andalucía and has this beautiful accent and that charm that make her unique.
I’d like to celebrate her Birthday with you by giving you a 20% off in any of my individual patterns on Ravelry until next Sunday, June 1. Use the code Ana during checkout. Also if you subscribe to the newsletter I will send you my new knitting pattern for free (I’ll let you know as soon as it’s ready).
